An interesting fact...
Recently, I found out our early ancestors were Quakers...In a Pennsylvania Genealogy book, it listed Elizabeth Galloway as a Quaker...Elizabeth was our 8th great grandmother (for my generation). ...She and Samuel lived in Scotland and were persecuted for their religion. They left for Ireland and again persecuted... Therefore, Elizabeth and her seven sons left for the new county, America...Entering a port in Pennsylvania about 1943, she and her family started a new life. Unfortunately, she and some of her family were killed by Native Americans on Nov. 1, 1755.
